The craftsman is an expert in the use of native plants, and your visit will start by exploring the plants in their home garden. From there, you’ll learn how these plants are used to create beautiful, handcrafted items, passed down through generations

DAY TRIP TO OKUTAMA
Start your day early by departing from Tokyo by private car. Upon arrival, take a hiking route called the Okutama Mukashi Michi Trail, a serene 10-kilometer walk along the old road, offering beautiful views of the forest and the Tama River, leading to Lake Okutama.
Pause for lunch by the river and enjoy your picnic. Afterward, visit Lake Okutama and walk across Ogouchi Dam to take in the tranquil mountain scenery.
